Gregory M. Taylor

Mr. Taylor is Managing Director of Alta Insurance Management Limited, a licensed insurance management company domiciled in the British Virgin Islands.  He has formed over 100 captive insurance companies throughout his career. 

Greg’s experience includes working for some of the biggest names in commercial insurance underwriting and broking.  After a career of underwriting and broking UK domestic and multi-national insurance accounts, he left the UK in 2001 to join a leading insurance management company in the British Virgin Islands as an account executive before being appointed Managing Director in late 2002.  He was a founding director of Alta Insurance Management Limited, and has been running the Alta BVI operation full time since 2005.

Greg’s underwriting experience includes most areas of commercial property and casualty business, and he has a particular expertise in casualty coverages, multi-national insurance placements and the underwriting of specialist captive insurance and other alternative risk transfer products.
