Ross C. Elliott

Ross is the Vice President of Operations for Alta Holdings, LLC. He brings 23 years of extensive experience in insurance company administration and operations. Mr. Elliott was introduced to captive insurance companies in 2004. The Utah Insurance Department requested that he review the applicability of their new Captive Insurance Companies Act to a company formation for one of his clients. He has since been involved in the creation and administration of several captive insurance companies.

During the past six years, he has provided insurance and information technology consulting services for numerous clients in the Intermountain West. For 17 years, Mr. Elliott administered a group of insurance companies which are affiliates of the Larry H. Miller Group of companies based in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this capacity, he was responsible for all areas of the companies’ operational, compliance, accounting, claims, and administrative functions. During this time, Mr. Elliott also served as an officer and director of both the Utah Life & Health Insurance Guaranty Association and the Utah Life Convention. He was also recognized as a Fellow of the Life Management Institute.

Mr. Elliott began his career at ADP after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University in 1972. At ADP his responsibilities increased from accounts manager to national director of product training.

He is involved extensively in civic and charitable activities in his community. He currently resides with his family in Murray, Utah.
