Scott A. Sobel

Mr. Sobel is Managing Director at Alta Holdings, LLC. He brings over 20 years of experience as a financial analyst, sales professional and senior executive of both Fortune 500 and middle market companies. Mr. Sobel was introduced to captive insurance companies in 1998 when a firm he served as principal in was acquired by a large privately held conglomerate that utilized captive insurance.

Mr. Sobel served as Vice President of WareOnEarth Communications, Inc, where he was instrumental in establishing and managing professional service relationships with Motorola, AT&T, Mellon Bank, Best Buy, U.S. Bank and other leading firms. During his tenure with WareOnEarth Mr. Sobel was responsible for corporate planning, business development, and commercial operations.

Earlier Mr. Sobel served as Vice President of Clicker Corporation until it was acquired by Chamberlain Group in 1998. While at Clicker, Mr. Sobel managed to grow the company from a start up to market share leader in the commercial building, hardware, and retail industries for remote control replacements. Mr. Sobel managed a staff of over forty employees and was successful in developing large scale relationships with leading retailers such as The Home Depot, Target, Radio Shack, Lowe’s, Sears and others, while the company managed successful manufacturing operations in the United States.

Prior to driving the growth at Clicker, Mr. Sobel managed a regional office and helped develop software based integrated information solutions for the Thomson Reuters Corporation in Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Sobel began his career with Dun & Bradstreet, where he served as a financial analyst and sales executive after earning a Bachelor in Science from the University of Arizona in 1989.
